My mission is to EMPOWER – allowing my clients to take better control over their fitness and their lives.

Recent Accomplishments: Completed the Suzuki Rock 'N Roll Marathon for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Background: Traveled and lived throughout the United States and abroad but relocated back to the Bay Area, where I was born and where I now live with my family of six.

About Me: Ever since the birth of the first of my four children, I have had a greater appreciation for life. With childbirth came my own fitness challenges. Since then, I have strived to achieve and maintain my health and fitness and to be a healthy role-model for my children. As I did research and became more educated about fitness, I became more and more passionate each day about the importance of fitness in each of our lives.

I then began sharing my knowledge, helping friends and family with fat loss goals. Some had medical conditions and some wanted to enhance sports performance. Those I helped ranged from "stay-at-home moms" to tri-athletes. For me, it has always been pure pleasure to help people and I realized that I surely had found my calling. I decided to give up the "big career" and started out in this rewarding endeavor. I became certified and began personal training while my children were in school.

Having achieved the balance I want in my own life, I have ample energy to get my clients motivated and energized. Results are always achieved – if the program is followed! This makes for satisfied clients and good karma for me.

In designing individual fitness programs, I draw from my extensive backgrounds in traditional fitness and education at NASM, as well as drawing from my experiences in martial arts, long distance running and yoga. I get to know my clients' strengths and passions so that the program I recommend will succeed. It is most important that it be enjoyable for my clients. My goal is to have my clients fall in love with their new lifestyle and, as a result, achieve life-long fitness.
